Create an org chart for a construction company
About the framework
The Project Director oversees Project Manager, Site Engineer, Safety Officer, and Finance Manager. Each branch has two reports, for 13 boxes in total. The chart is organized around project delivery rather than a corporate board or multiple construction sites.
Scheduler and Procurement report to the Project Manager. Civil Foreman and Mechanical Lead sit under the Site Engineer. HSE Inspector and Env. Compliance fall under the Safety Officer, while Cost Controller and Admin / HR report to Finance Manager. Subcontractor companies and trade crews are not drawn.
Adapt the example to the project’s actual supervision and escalation lines. Name the site and responsible roles, then add subcontractor interfaces or additional trades where needed. A reporting line alone does not specify inspection procedures or contractual authority.
