Create a business model canvas for Amazon
About the framework
The Amazon business model canvas brings several business lines into one view. Customer Segments includes shoppers, marketplace sellers, enterprise clients, content consumers, and developers. Revenue Streams names product sales, seller services, AWS, advertising, and Prime subscriptions. This makes the template useful for asking which customer group supports each revenue category.
The remaining blocks connect the sample's logistics, cloud infrastructure, brand, and distribution channels to its activities and costs. It is a nine-section overview, not a diagram of flywheel relationships: no arrows trace reinforcing loops between the blocks. Revenue, cost, product, seller, and subscriber figures appear without a reporting date or source and should be verified or replaced.
For a closer analysis, narrow the canvas to one business line. An AWS-only version would emphasize enterprise and developer needs, while a marketplace version would put seller participation and buyer experience at the center. Avoid carrying every resource from the combined example into a single-unit model.

Frequently asked questions
It lists business model components but does not draw a flywheel or causal links. Ask for a separate loop diagram if you want to explore proposed relationships between selection, customer demand, and seller participation.
First replace or verify every figure against a dated source. The example mixes undated amounts and percentages, so it should not be presented as a current financial breakdown.
Name the unit and its customers, then ask the AI to retain only relevant partners, activities, resources, costs, and revenue streams. Review shared resources explicitly rather than assuming they belong entirely to that unit.
