Create a concept map about genetics
About the framework
The Genetics map has five main branches: DNA Structure, Gene Expression, Inheritance, Mutations, and Applications. Each divides into two subtopics, producing ten subtopic groups and 32 leaf entries. The structure supports a review that moves from molecular components to patterns of inheritance and practical uses.
Gene Expression separates transcription from translation. Inheritance contrasts Mendelian examples with codominance, incomplete dominance, polygenic traits, and epistasis. Applications names biotechnology methods and medical uses, but supplies no protocols or case studies.
Choose a branch that matches the lesson rather than treating every entry as the same level of detail. For exam preparation, add a recall question or worked example to the relevant leaves. A Punnett-square problem or transcription sequence would be an addition to the current topic outline.

Frequently asked questions
No. It names topics such as Punnett squares and segregation. Provide a cross and ask for the calculation or diagram to add a worked example.
One subgroup names point mutations, insertions/deletions, and chromosomal mutations. Another lists silent, missense, nonsense, and frameshift entries for further explanation.
No. It lists methods and uses such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and genetic testing. The map is a study outline without experimental procedures.
